Anonymous asked: how does someone start the journey of self love? I'm tired of feeling sorry for myself and am ready to move on to better things. thanks 😄

virgoassbitch:

You just start. You start by deciding that you’re worth it. Even if you don’t FEEL worth it, you just decide to not allow your insecurity and emotions to control you in that way. And the first step is often the hardest because a lot of times it means leaving toxic people and situations behind us along with the toxic thought patterns we know so well. Starting to love yourself is like learning how to start treating yourself like someone you love. Even if the steps you take feel like baby steps, they will add up and one day you’ll look back and be so glad you snapped out of that self loathing pity party mentality. You’ll slowly start to feel yourself becoming more and more comfortable owning your place in this world and feeling worthy and capable. Every step is a big step when it comes to loving yourself.
